Windows Secure Boot certificates will expire in June and October 2026. For more details on Secure Boot certificates, please refer to the Microsoft website below:

Please review the following information and consider the appropriate actions.
Impact on Boot Process
Even after the certificates expire, your current Windows installation will continue to boot normally. There is no impact on the startup behavior of your Panasonic PC.
Necessity of New Certificates
If new certificates are not added to the BIOS, the following limitations will occur:
- Windows Boot Managers signed with new certificates will not boot (including from external media).
- Future Boot Manager updates will also require the new certificates to be installed.
Addition of New Certificates During Production
Panasonic has already started adding new certificates to the BIOS during production. Please refer to the table below for the production status of your model.
Adding New Certificates to PCs in Use
If new certificates were not added during production, please consider the following actions:
- For General Consumers: We recommend automatic updates via Windows Update. New certificates will be added automatically through Microsoft Windows Update at the appropriate time. In this case, no action is required from the customer.
- For Corporate Customers: Depending on your IT environment, automatic updates via Windows Update may not occur.

About BIOS Updates
For Panasonic PCs, a BIOS update is not mandatory for adding new certificates. New certificates can be added with any BIOS version you are currently using. However, we recommend updating to the latest BIOS for other reasons, such as vulnerability countermeasures.

Added to products with serial numbers starting from 4E******** refers to those with a serial number where the first character is 4 and the second character is E or later in the alphabet, or those where the first character is 5 or a later digit.
The new certificates have been added to all serial numbers for products not listed in the table above and released in 2026 or later. The other products not listed in the table have not been updated during production.
