TOUGHBOOK FZ-55Mk3 5G Module (EM9190) Setup Support Information

We will inform Setup Support Information of TOUGHBOOK FZ-55Mk3 5G Module.

Important Notes about the 5G Module:

It is only compatible with TOUGHBOOK FZ-55 Mk3 (not Mk1 or Mk2)
It cannot pass through RF signals to a vehicle dock to allow use with external antenna.
On units that are not preinstalled or preconfigured, it requires hardware installation using a Philips screwdriver (JIS 0). Screws are included with purchase of the 5G Module accessory.
On units that are not preinstalled or preconfigured, it requires software installation as listed below.
Once installation steps are completed, the embedded 4G modem (if equipped) will no longer function. [5G Module supports 4G and 5G].
To install the required Cellular WWAN driver, be sure to execute the switch command (To_5G_Switch.bat/To_4G_Switch.bat) described later. Do NOT run the Cellular WWAN driver installer or pinstall.bat directly.
