Reason for Update

We released the counter measure modules for the following issues and vulnerabilities.

  1. This version improves the stability of the system when connecting a Thunderbolt graphics adapter on Windows 11, version 24H2.
  2. Vulnerability Information
    INTEL-SA-01315, INTEL-SA-01342
  3. Fix an issue where firmware updates such as BIOS and CSME would occasionally fail.

Notes

  1. "Converged Security and Management Engine (CSME)" and "Management Engine (ME)" are synonymous.
  2. This CSME firmware needs to be updated "twice", starting from the older version.
    Please be sure to refer the update procedure before updating.
  3. Please update both CSME firmware and CSME driver.
  4. If the CSME firmware version is 18.1.18.2724 or older before the update, the update may fail.
    In this case, the update process will be executed again on the next restart.
