File Description

This software is intended to update the Wireless LAN driver and Bluetooth driver of the target models.
The version after applying this software is as follows.
 - WLAN Driver : Ver.23.40.1.1
 - Bluetooth Driver : Ver.23.40.0.2

Reason for Update

  • These software are the countermeasure drivers to fix the following issue and vulnerability.
  1. Intel® PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi and Killer™ Wi-Fi Advisory (INTEL-SA-00766).
  2. This version improves the stability of Wi-Fi driver and Bluetooth driver.

Notes

  • Please update Bluetooth driver and WLAN driver in order.
  • Please surely sign-in with “administrator” user account when you execute updating.
    (Do NOT use “Fast User Switching” function. Then sign in with administrator user account and operate the procedure.)
  • Perform this procedure with the AC adapter and a sufficiently charged battery pack attached.
