Information

This document describes how to update Software of FZ-A3A series from internal storage.

[Preparation]
 Use PC for the software update.
  1. Download the update Software file from the download site to PC.
  2. Connect FZ-A3A series and PC with USB cable.
    Please refer to following "Referential Document: ADB USB Driver".
  3. After FZ-A3A series has been recognized by PC as media storage, save the update Software file to "Download" folder of the internal storage of FZ-A3A series.
    Note* If more than one files are stored in "Download" folder,
    "Two or more software is stored in the "Download" folder." message appears, and update is not available.

If the software version (build number) of your FZ-A3A series does not correspond to "System Softwares OS Version Updates", please perform the system update

Notes

  • You can update the software while leaving data such as camera images, e-mails, and downloaded data registered to this device. However, the data may not be protected depending on the status of your unit.
    We recommend that you back up your important data.
  • It is impossible to be downgraded to Android™ 9(Pie) after update to Android™ 11(R).
  • Applications compatible with old OS versions may not work properly.
    Performing a version update will reset some settings. Please configure them again.
  • If the tablet is locked, a screen for inputting a password for lock is displayed when restarting after the rewriting process. You must input the unlock password.
  • If the software version(build number) of your FZ-A3A series does not correspond to Supported version, the device may not boot up and not be recovered in your side.
