Information

This document describes how to update Software of FZ-L1 from internal storage.

[Preparation]
 Use PC for the software update.
  1. Download the update Software file from the download site to PC.
  2. Connect FZ-T1/L1 and PC with USB cable.
    Please refer to "Referential Document: ADB USB Driver for FZ-L1, FZ-N1 and FZ-T1".
  3. After FZ-T1/L1 has been recognized by PC as media storage, save the update Software file to "Download" folder of the internal storage of FZ-T1/L1.
    Note* If more than one files are stored in "Download" folder,
    "Two or more software is stored in the "Download" folder."
    message appears, and update is not available.

Reason for Update

Firmware Version: 15-04-520-039
  1. Apply the Android security Patches.(July 2020)
  2. Update the Log sending app.(Including GDPR measures)
  3. Delete SwiftKey app.
  4. Fix the issue that DUT can not connect to some USB storage devices.

* The firmware on FZ-L1 with the version 15-04-520-039 or later cannot be downgraded to "Previous version of 15-04-520-039".
