File Description

This software is intended to update the Wireless LAN driver and Bluetooth driver of the target models.
The version after applying this software is as follows.
 - WLAN Driver : Ver.21.40.1.4
 - Bluetooth Driver : Ver.20.100.6.3

Reason for Update

  1. We released the counter measure driver for the following vulnerabilities.
     - Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software Vulnerability Information
      (INTEL-SA-00169, INTEL-SA-00182, INTEL-SA-00188, INTEL-SA-00204,
       INTEL-SA-00232, INTEL-SA-00287, INTEL-SA-00288)
  2. Fixed the connection issue to 802.11ax Access Points.

Notes

  • Updating Wireless LAN driver will reset the advanced properties of Wireless LAN device in device manager to the factory default settings.
    If the settings have been changed from factory default, please change them again after updating the driver.
  • Before updating Bluetooth driver, please delete pairing for Bluetooth devices.
    After updating Bluetooth driver, you need to pair Bluetooth devices again.
  • When updating Wireless LAN driver and Bluetooth driver, please connect AC Adaptor and fully charged battery.
  • Updating Wireless LAN driver will remove Cisco Compatible eXtensions(CCX) component.
