Information
This document describes how to update Software of FZ-N1 from internal storage.
[Preparation]
Use PC for the software update.
- Download the update Software file from the download site to PC.
- Connect FZ-N1 and PC with USB cable.
Please refer to following "Referential Document: FZ-N1 ADB USB Driver". - After FZ-N1 has been recognized by PC as media storage, save the update Software file to "Download" folder of the internal storage of FZ-N1.
Note* If more than one files are stored in "Download" folder,
"Two or more software is stored in the "Download" folder." message appears, and update is not available.
Reason for Update

- Apply the Android security patchs (Include security patch against 'Meltdown')
- Update the Kitting Tool Application.
- Fix the issue that date and time are initialized by pressing and holding the power key even after rebooting.
- Fix the issue that barcode can not be read with ANR (Application Not Responding) occurred.
- The setup wizard (initial setting screen) can be skipped.
