[AMD Graphics]
The warning notification of graphics settings may be displayed, when you close an application like "Panasonic PC Settings Utility".

This is a function of AMD graphics.
If performance settings of AMD graphics are not set for the application, the warning notification sometimes is displaied.
And if you want to inhibit the notification, please execute one of following procedures.

Procedure 1:
Prevent the display of the notification for an application.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [AMD Settings] - [AMD Settings], and start "RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS".

  2. Click [... Advanced] to launch Radeon Pro and AMD FirePro Advanced Settings.

  3. Click "Switchable Graphics Application Settings".

  4. If the application is listed on [Recent Application], please select Graphics Settings except for [Not Assigned]. In the case of not listed on [Recent Application], click [Add application] and select the application, and set Graphics Settings properly.

Procedure 2:
Prevent the display of the notification for all applications.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [AMD Settings] - [AMD Settings], and start "RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS".

  2. Click [Preferences].

  3. Remove the check from check box of [Notifications].

  4. Click [Done].

2 All models

[Bluetooth]
When connecting Bluetooth keyboard, if enter wrong PIN twice, the new PIN will be never displayed.

After connection operation repeatedly, "Enter the PIN for Bluetooth Keyboard." message and input field will be displayed.
Input arbitrary digits and click [Connect], and enter the same digits to your Bluetooth Keyboard, the connection will be done.

3 All models

[Bluetooth]
After paired with a Bluetooth headset, BSOD may occur when switching Bluetooth on/off.

If it is not necessary, do not switch off/on Bluetooth.If Bluetooth off/on switching is necessary, do not switch it right now.If the paired Bluetooth headset is not used for a long time, remove it by [Remove Device].This issue will be fixed by Windows 10 October 2018 Update.

4 FZ-M1[D/ECD]

[Camera]
When using "Panasonic PC Camera Utility" on FZ-M1[D/ECD] series, if a still image is shot with "Camera shake correction" ON using the front camera, the application will freeze with the black screen.

Front camera of FZ-M1[D/ECD] does not support camera shake correction.
Please use with camera shake correction OFF (default setting).
"Panasonic PC Camera Utility" which has been modified so as not to display "Camera shake correction" setting for the front camera of FZ-M1[D/ECD] has been published to the Microsoft Store.

[DisplayLink]
If you connect an external monitor to HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA(*1) port on peripheral devices(cradle, keyboard base, etc.) and set display mode to "Second screen only", applications using OpenGL may not be displayed properly.

Please switch display mode to "Duplicate" or "Extend".

[Finger Print]
Desktop screen can't be shown automatically when you enable Single Sign-On of Fingerprint Authentication(EVE FA Standalone) and start PC with Fingerprint Authentication.
The lock screen and the sign-in screen can be canceled by key operation or mouse operation.
But to sign in may not be able, and the sign-in screen may be displayed again.

For the issue that desktop screen can't be shown automatically, please execute one of the following below.

Measure 1: Key input or mouse click is needed to pass the lock screen and the sign-in screen.
Measure 2: Disable the function to speed up the Windows sign-in process. If user wants to disable this function, please execute the following step: Click (Start button) at the bottom of left corner, click [Settings] - [Account] - [Sign in options] - "Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update or restart" and then click "Turn off" button.

Note: This option isn't available if your device is joined to a domain.

For the issue that the sign-in screen is displayed again, please execute whichever one of following below.

Measure 1: Execute Windows Update.
Measure 2: (If user cannot execute Windows Update) If the sign-in screen is displayed again, execute fingerprint authentication again, or click [Sign-in options] and select password mode or PIN mode and enter password or PIN.

7 All models

[OS]
After performed the following operations, "System Restore did not complete successfully." error may occur.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

  2. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore].

Try "System Restore" again by same procedures.

8 All models

[OS]
After performed the following operations, "System Restore did not complete successfully." error may occur.

  1. Click [Control Panel] - [System and Security] - [Security and Maintenance] - [Recovery] - [Configure System Restore] - [System Restore ...].

  2. Execute System Restore.

Try the following procedure,

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

  2. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore].

9 All models

[OS]
After performed the following operations, "This app can’t open. Check the Windows Store for more info about xxxxx (application name)." error may occur.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

  2. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore].

  3. Launch the UWP application.

By trying to launch the UWP application again, you can launch it.

10 All models

[OS]
The UWP application may not be restored after execute the following operations.

  1. Uninstall the UWP application.

  2. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

  3. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore] and start System Restore.

  4. After that, select restore point that was created before 1, and execute System Restore.

Download and install the UWP application from the Microsoft Store.

11 All models

[OS]
After performed the following operations, an error may occur and the application can’t be uninstalled.

  1. Uninstall the desktop application.

  2. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

  3. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore] and start System Restore.

  4. After that, select restore point that was created before 1, and execute System Restore.

  5. Uninstall the desktop application same as 1.

"System Restore" function has the restriction.
Some files (example: .cab file) may not be restored.

If the necessary files were not restored, the error may occur while the uninstallation.

If you want to uninstall the application, contact the application vendor.

12 All models

[OS]
Tiles may not exist in Start Menu.

These tiles are for applications in left side of Start Menu, or applications recommended by Microsoft.

Even if this phenomenon occurs, you can use applications without any problems.

You can download applications recommended by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store.

If you need, pin to Start Menu.

After performed the following operations, one or both of WiFi and Bluetooth may not return to ON.

  1. Confirm WiFi and Bluetooth are On.

  2. Turn on "Airplane mode" from the tile in the Action Center.

  3. Confirm WiFi and Bluetooth have been turned off.

  4. Turn off the hardware wireless switch.

  5. Wait for a while and then turn on the hardware wireless switch.

Please turn WiFi and Bluetooth individually from Network icon on the Task Bar or the Action Center.

When connect external display and set mode to duplicate mode, notification will not be displayed even if execute [Fn] + [F9] (display Battery Level), or other operation to display notifications.

Open Focus assist settings (Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, and then click [Settings] - [System] - [Focus Assist]) and follow below procedure.

If "When I'm duplicating my display" of Automatic rules is [On], set [Off] to "When I'm duplicating my display" setting, or set [Focus assist] to [Off] to display notifications.

In "Create a system image", "You have chosen to back up drive C:, which is encrypted. The backup location will not be encrypted. Make sure the backup is kept in a physically secure location." warning message may be shown.
In restoring, you must enter the recovery key in "System Image Recovery" screen.

Enter the recovery key gotten as below.

  1. Go to "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=237614" and sign in with a Microsoft account.

  2. If there are some recovery keys, choose a same Key ID in "System Image Recovery" screen.

If you backed up your recovery key before, you can use it.

Make sure the backup is kept in a physically secure location because the backup location will not be encrypted.
After restored, you must connect to the Internet to finish encrypting and to generate a new recovery key.

A password input window, which appears when you insert a USB memory encrypted by BitLockerToGo, closes by touch operation to show software keyboard.
Therefore you can't input a password.

  1. Show a software keyboard first, then insert a USB memory.

  2. You can show a password input window again by the following each operations.

    2-1. Tap [Control Panel] - [System and Security]. And then, tap "Unlock drive" in "Bit Locker Drive Encryption".

    2-2. Open "Explorer" and tap "USB drive".

If Num Lock LED is lighted, unlock with Num Lock Button manually.

By using projection to output screen, due to change the projection mode when you add a check mark to "Allow mouse, keyboard, touch, and pen input from this device" and then move the mouse, the mouse cursor icon always moves to the upper left of the screen that the mouse can not be used correctly.

Execute one of the following procedures below.

Measure 1: Change the screen resolution when projection connection.

  1. When using projection connection, change the screen resolution on the sending side PC to the receiving side PC.

  2. On the sending side PC, select [Connect] from the Action Center and disconnect the connection with the [Disconnect] button.

  3. Select [Connect] from the Action Center on the sending side PC again and connect it to the receiving side of PC.

Measure 2: Use the projection connection with "Extend" mode.

The OCR function of "Panasonic PC Camera Utility" may not be available depending on the language.

Please download the optional feature (optical character recognition) by the following procedure.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, and then click [Settings] - [Time & language] - [Region & language].

  2. Open [Options] of language used.

  3. If the following window is displayed, please wait for a while until the [Download] button is displayed.

  4. Push [Download]button of [Basic typing].

Note: OCR feature can't be used in some languages which Windows doesn't support OCR feature.

When the Panasonic PC Camera Utility running, Sus/Res, Hib/Res, or perform restoration from minimization, the application may be terminated.

If Panasonic PC Camera Utility has been terminated, please restart it. If the errer message appeared, terminate the Panasonic PC Camera Utility and restart it.

When touching a button that may be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen during calibration, touch/pen does not behave correctly after calibration.

Please operate with the touchpad, keyboard, or external mouse etc., execute the calibration again, and complete the calibration so as not to touch the button.

Some wireless devices may not be displayed in the airplane mode after reboot, or after boot from full shutdown or fast shutdown.

Once the airplane mode is turned on and turned off again, the device will be displayed.
