[AMD Graphics]
The warning notification of graphics settings may be displayed, when you close an application like Panasonic PC Settings Utility.

This is a function of AMD graphics.If performance settings of AMD graphics are not set for the application, the warning notification sometimes is displaied.
And if you want to inhibit the notification, please execute one of following procedures.

Procedure 1:
Prevent the display of the notification for an application.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [AMD Settings] - [AMD Settings], and start "RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS".

  2. Click [... Advanced] to launch Radeon Pro and AMD FirePro Advanced Settings.

  3. Click "Switchable Graphics Application Settings".

  4. If the application is listed on [Recent Application], please select Graphics Settings except for [Not Assigned]. In the case of not listed on [Recent Application], click [Add application] and select the application, and set Graphics Settings properly.

Procedure 2:
Prevent the display of the notification for all applications.

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [AMD Settings] - [AMD Settings], and start "RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS".

  2. Click [Preferences].

  3. Remove the check from check box of [Notifications].

  4. Click [Done].

If you connect an external monitor to HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA(*1) port on peripheral devices(cradle, keyboard base, etc.) and set display mode to "Second screen only", applications using OpenGL may not be displayed properly.

Please switch display mode to "Duplicate" or "Extend".

[Battery]
Battery numbers which are displayed when clicking the battery icon in the notification area may be battery 0/battery 1 not battery 1/battery 2.

Battery numbers which are displayed by "Fn"key + "F9"key are correct.

Refer to each Battery number as above.

It was fixed in cumulative update program of Microsoft Corporation (February 14, 2018 - KB 4074588 OS build 16299.248).

[Bluetooth]
When bluetooth is turned off while connecting with Bluetooth PAN(Personal Area Network), BSOD may occur.

Do not turn off Bluetooth during connecting Bluetooth PAN.
BSOD will not occur while Bluetooth is ON.

A password input window, which appears when you insert a USB memory encrypted by BitLockerToGo, closes by touch operation to show software keyboard.
Therefore you can't input a password.

  1. Show a software keyboard first, then insert a USB memory.

  2. You can show a password input window again by the following each operations.

    2-1. Tap [Control Panel] - [System and Security]. And then, tap "Unlock drive" in "Bit Locker Drive Encryption".

    2-2. Open explorer and tap "USB drive".

Desktop screen can't be shown automatically when you enable Single Sign-On of Fingerprint Authentication(EVE FA Standalone) and start PC with Fingerprint Authentication.

Key input or mouse click is needed to pass the lock screen and the sign-in screen.

[2] From [Windows Recovery Environment]

  3. Click [Troubleshoot] after PC restart.

  4. Click [Reset this PC].

"Touch Pad Accidental Operation Prevention" cannot be used right after Sign In.

"Touch Pad Accidental Operation Prevention" provided as part of the "Panasonic PC Settings Utility" function cannot be used for a while (about 3 minutes) after Sign In.

The UWP application may not be restored after execute the following operations.

  1. Uninstall the UWP application.

  2. Click [Control Panel] - [System and Security] - [Security and Maintenance] - [Recovery] - [Configure System Restore] - [System Restore ...].

  3. Select restore point that was created before 1.

  4. Execute the system restore.

  1. Wait a while (about an hour), retry the system restore.

  2. If an error still occurs, try the following procedure,

    2-1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

    2-2. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore].

  3. If an error still occurs, download and install the UWP application from the "Microsoft Store".

After performed the following operations, "This app can’t open. Check the Windows Store for more info about xxxxx (application name)." error may occur.

  1. Click [Control Panel] - [System and Security] - [Security and Maintenance] - [Recovery] - [Configure System Restore] - [System Restore ...]

  3. Launch the UWP application.

Once sign-in after sing-out, you can launch the UWP application.

  2. Execute the system restore.

  2. If an error still occurs, try the following procedure,

    2-1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, click [Settings] - [Update & Security] - [Recovery], and then click [Restart now] in "Advanced startup".

    2-2. On "Choose an option", click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [System Restore]

After performed the following operations, an error may occur and you can’t uninstall the application.

Sample error message:
"PC Information Viewer - InstallSheild Wizard An error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occurred with running the setup."

  1. Uninstall the desktop application.

  2. Click [Control Panel] - [System and Security] - [Security and Maintenance] - [Recovery] - [Configure System Restore] - [System Restore ...]

  3. Select restore point that was created before 1.

  4. Uninstall the desktop application same as 1.

The system restore function has the restriction. Some files (example: .cab file) may not be restored.

If the necessary files were not restored, the error may occur while the uninstallation.

If you want to uninstall the application, contact the application vendor.

You can't recovery with USB flash memory recognized as Local Disc when you create a recovery drive by the following steps.

  1. Click [Control Panel] - [System and Security] - [Security and Maintenance] - [Recovery].

  2. Click [Advance recovery tools] - [Create a recovery drive] - [Next].

  3. Click [Select the USB flash drive] - Select one drive - [Next].

  4. Click [Create the recovery drive] - [Create].

Please recovery with the following each way.

  1. Use USB flash memory recognized as Removable (i.e. not shown "Local Disk" in File Explorer).

  2. Recovery by using "Panasonic PC Recovery Disc Creation Utility".
    (Except FZ-M1D)

Tiles may not exist in Start Menu.

These tiles are for applications in left side of Start Menu, or applications recommended by Microsoft.

Even if this phenomenon occurs, you can use applications without any problems.

You can download applications recommended by Microsoft through Microsoft Store.

If you need, pin to Start Menu.

Wireless LAN may not work, after execute the following steps.

[1] From [Settings]

  1. Click (Start button) at the bottom left corner, and then click [Settings] - [Update & security] - [Recovery].

After performed the following operations, "WiFi/Bluetooth" does not turn on although "airplane mode" is turned off.

  1. Confirm WiFi/Bluetooth is on.

  2. Turn on "airplane mode" from the tile in the Action Center.

  3. Confirm WiFi/Bluetooth is turned off.

  4. Turn off the hardware wireless switch.

  5. Wait for a while and then turn on the hardware wireless switch.

Please turn WiFi/Bluetooth individually in at the Action Center.

If you select "Remove everything" in Reset this PC, at the initial startup after re-setup, The error of 2D Barcode Key Emulator "2D Barcode Key Emulatore can not work on this machine." will be displayed.

You can see this messsage only when just after PC initialization ,and Restarting the PC after that can't see the message and it will be working properly.

When using the fingerprint software "EVE FA Standalone", you can not use the PIN used in place of the password. Also, face authentication can not be used.

When using both face authentication and fingerprints, please use the Windows Hello function.

If you reinstall the fingerprint software "EVE FA Standalone", switch user accounts, etc., you may get into symptoms such as being unable to authenticate with the registered fingerprint data, not being able to register again.

Be sure to delete data when uninstalling fingerprint software "EVE FA Standalone". After reinstalling, you can not delete the remaining data.
If you change the user account to Microsoft account, please specify fingerprint software to delete data, uninstall it, switch user account, reinstall and register fingerprint again.

Rear Camera might not be usable in Panasonic PC Camera Utility or Microsoft Camera.
