How to add preamble or postamble to the data scanned by the barcode reader.
Answer
You can set preamble and postamble with the Barcode Reader application.:
- Select [Barcode Reader] from All apps.
- Tap [Data transmission settings] → [Preamble] (or [Postamble]).
- Enter preamble strings (or postamble strings) and tap the "save" icon.
For preamble and postamble strings, you can also set control characters as well as graphic characters. To enter control characters, enter "x" followed by unicode. For example, enter "x000dx000a" to set CR+LF(new line), "x0009" to set HT (horizontal tab), and "x000b" to set VT (vertical tab).
