Support information about restrictions on "Windows 10 Creators Update" pre-installed models.

The yellow exclamation icon may be displayed on Drive Icon.

HDD Encryption and Device Encryption protect the data from unauthorized access, if PC is losted or stolen.

These functions are enabled when shipping PC, but need to sign in with "Microsoft Account" to finish the encryption.

If encryption does not be finished, the yellow exclamation icon may be displayed on Drive Icon. Please finish the encryption.

If the yellow exclamation icon needs to be erased without encryption, please execute one of following procedures.

Procedure 1 : Disable the encryption

Start Menu - Settings - System - About - Click turn off button of Device Encryption

Procedure 2 : Windows Update

By executing Windows Update, the yellow exclamation icon can be erased, but encryption does not be finished.

The warning notification of graphics settings may be displayed, when you close an application like Panasonic PC Settings Utility.

This is a function of AMD graphics.If performance settings of AMD graphics are not set for the application, the warning notification sometimes is displaied.

And if you want to inhibit the notification, please execute one of following procedures.

Procedure 1: Prevent the display of the notification for an application.

1. Left click the start button → Left click "AMD Settings" folder → Left click "AMD Settings" to start RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS.

2. Left click [... Advanced] to launch Radeon Pro and AMD FirePro Advanced Settings.

3. Left click [Switchable Graphics Application Settings]

4. If the application is listed on "Recent Application", please select Graphics Settings except for "Not Assigned". In the case of not listed on "Recent Application", left click [Add application] and select the application, and set Graphics Settings properly.

Procedure 2: Prevent the display of the notification for all applications.

1. Left click the start button → Left click "AMD Settings" folder → Left click "AMD Settings" to start RADEON PRO AND AMD FIREPRO SETTINGS.

2. Left click "Preferences".

3. Remove the check from check box of Notifications.

4. Left click "Done".

If you connect an external monitor to HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA port on peripheral devices(cradle, keyboard base, etc.) and set display mode to "Second screen only", applications using OpenGL may not be displayed properly.

If you connect an external monitor to HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA(*1) port on peripheral devices(cradle, keyboard base, etc.) and set display mode to "Second screen only", applications using OpenGL may not be displayed properly.

Please switch display mode to "Duplicate" or "Extend".

Panasonic PC Settings Utility may end abnormally.

In Panasonic PC Settings Utility, if you start "Administrator settings" after doing some operation, the utility may end abnormally.

If you use "Administrator settings" in Panasonic PC Settings Utility, please execute the settings immediately after starting the utility, and then make other settings afterwards.

Airplane mode can be changed to Off on Windows 10 although wireless switch is OFF.

Wireless communication may be ON with the following steps although wireless switch is OFF.

1. Slide the wireless switch to OFF.

2. Then Airplane mode is turn to On.

3. Turn Airplane mode Off on Windows 10.

4. Then wireless communication may be enabled although the wireless switch is OFF.

* If make the status coincident between wireless communication and wireless switch, to turn wireless communication off, slide the wireless switch to ON once and re-slide it to OFF.

The setting of wireless LAN(IEEE802.11a) may be disabled after rebooting Windows, even though the setting is enabled.

In the Panasonic PC setting utility, you can set wireless LAN (IEEE802.11a) enabled.

Then, after rebooting Windows, if you check the previous setting, it may be disabled.

The display shows disabled, but the setting is enabled.

It takes time for the display to be updated.

Battery numbers which are displayed when clicking the battery icon in the notification area are wrongly swapped.

Battery numbers which are displayed by "Fn"key + "F9"key are correct.

Please replace each Battery number as necessary.

When user execute function of Wireless Projection, the warning message may be displaied.

When user execute "Projection to this PC" ([Settings] - [System] - [Projecting to this PC]), the following message may display.

"This device might have trouble displaying your content because its hardware wasn’t specifically designed for wireless projection.”

User can use this function, even if warning message is displayed.

Rarely after the Windows setup, the tile of the start menu may be displayed as "P ~ Microsoft ...".

Rarely after the Windows setup, the tile of the start menu may be displayed as "P ~ Microsoft ..." and it may not react even if you click it.

These tiles are applications displayed on the left side of the start menu or it is recommended application by Microsoft.

If Windows cannot register the tile properly it will be displayed as above.

Even in this state, the operation of the application is not affected.

Applications recommended by Microsoft can be downloaded from "Store".

If PC is restarted or shut down after turning off Bluetooth during connecting Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network), BSOD may be occurred.

Please execute one of following procedures.

Procedure 1 : Please execute Windows Update.

Procedure 2 : (If Windows Update cannot be executed)

Please do not turn off Bluetooth after connecting Bluetooth PAN.

BSOD will not occur even if restart or shut down PC if Bluetooth remains ON.
