How to set up Internet APN?

Answer

Please set up "Internet APN" by the following procedure.

NOTE) If "Internet APN" is changed, network connection will be disconnected.

Therefore please end a voice call before changing "Internet APN".

  1. Tap "Settings" -> "Networks & wireless" -> "Mobile & SIM"/"Cellular & SIM".
  2. Tap "SIM settings".
  3. Tap "Add an Internet APN".
  4. Input adequate APN data by referring to an instruction manual of SIM card.*
  5. Enable a check box of "Use this APN for LTE and replace the one from my mobile operator".
  6. Enable a check box of "Apply this profile".
  7. Tap "Save" at the bottom after completing editing and "OK" on a pop-uped message. If stop editing, push "Return" button..

If saving with a wrong APN, please change "Internet APN" with the following procedure.

  1. Tap "Settings" -> "Networks & wireless" -> "Mobile & SIM"/"Cellular & SIM".
  2. Tap "SIM settings".
  3. Tap the added APN under "Internet APN" and tap "Edit".
  4. Input correct value.
  5. Enable a check box of "Use this APN for LTE and replace the one from my mobile operator".
  6. Enable a check box of "Apply this profile".
  7. Tap "Save" at the bottom after completing editing and "OK" on a pop-uped message.
  8. Turn off and on the device power. [Skip this procedure if OS version of the device is Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise, Ver.1703 or later:]
  9. Tap "Settings" -> "Networks & wireless" -> "Mobile & SIM"/"Cellular & SIM" and check whether the added APN in "Internet APN" area is made to "Activated".
