File Description

This software is intended to update the Bluetooth software and Wireless LAN driver of the target models.

Reason for Update

This software corrects the vulnerability of Intel Bluetooth Software.

* In order to use the Bluetooth software, it is necessary to update the Wireless LAN driver.

Notes

- Before updating the driver, you should

  1. Sign in as the administrator account.
  2. Connect AC Adaptor and fully charged battery.
  3. Disconnect networks (wired and wireless). (Except when you download the program.)
  4. Disconnect all peripheral equipment.
  5. Terminate all programs other than the program for updating Bluetooth driver.
  6. Terminate virus protection program and alike. (Restart them after finishing updating.)

- Updating Wireless LAN driver will reset the advanced properties of Wireless LAN device in device manager to the factory default settings. (For example, 802.11a will return to disabled.)
If the settings have been changed from factory default, please change them again after updating the driver.


- After updating Bluetooth, you need to pair Bluetooth devices again.
