Question

Windows 10 re-installation was failed and the following error message will appear.

Pre-install Error
Pre-installing process was not properly completed.
Reinstall using the Recovery Disc.
Click 'OK' to turn off your computer.

- In the case that there is the following icon on the taskbar, if you click the icon, then the above error message is shown.

Answer

There is a possibility that [Wireless LAN] is set to [Disabled] in the Setup Utility.
Set the [Wireless LAN] to [Enabled] according to the following procedures, and then re-install OS again.
  1. Turn on the computer, and press [F2] or [Del] (in case of TOUGHPAD, touch top left of the screen)
    while [Panasonic] boot screen is displayed.
    Then the Setup Utility will start.
    If the password is requested, enter the Supervisor Password.
  2. Click [Wireless Configuration] of the [Advanced] menu and set [Wireless LAN] to [Enabled].
  3. Click [Save Values and Reboot] of the [Exit] menu.
    At the confirmation message, select [Yes] and press [Enter].
    Computer will restart.

Information

Although the error message says "Reinstall using the Recovery Disc.", if the error occurred in the "Hard Disc (or SSD) Recovery", re-installing by "Hard Disc (or SSD) Recovery" can fix the issue.
