All USB ports on PC and port replicator will be powered on while th e PC is docked with the port replicator even if the PC is in sleep mode.
Answer
While the PC is docked with port replicator, all USB ports will be powered on even in sleep mode, because the internal device of port replicator (such as Serial-USB conversion device and HDMI/VGA-USB conversion device) requires the power supply to the USB ports.
Power consumption will increase a little by this behavior, please connect the PC to a power outlet while it's docked with port replicator.
