Question
Standard users cannot delete tasks in task scheduler.
Answer
Standard users cannot delete tasks in task scheduler even if the tasks are created by the standard user himself/herself.
This is because standard users don't have the permission to access "C:WindowsSystem32Tasks" folder.
This is supposed to be by design.
To solve this situation, follow the steps described below.
| 1) | Double-click "C:WindowsSystem32Tasks" folder. |
| 2) | Click [Continue] at the message that tells you you don't have permission to access the folder. |
| 3) | Input the password of the administrator at the User Access Control message so that you get access to the folder. |
