When an external display is not connected to the Cradle: The screen display on the internal LCD remains landscape, and does not rotate. Change the Screen Orientation Settings 1. Touch and hold on the desktop screen. 2. Touch [Screen resolution] on the menu. 3. Touch [Orientation: Landscape]. 4. Select [Portrait (flipped)] in the list. 5. Touch [OK] or [Apply]. 6. Touch [keep changes] on the [Display Settings] screen. - If you undo the angle of the display, Select [Landscape] in the list (4.). When you start up Windows, the Screen Orientation Settings return to [landscape]. The similar situation will occur when you switch the user, computer resumes from Sleep/Hibernation and Windows is unlocked.When an external display is connected to the Cradle while in the [Duplicate] mode or [Extend] mode: The screen display on the internal LCD remains landscape, and does not rotate. It will be previous settings, if you are changed the Settings before. Change the Screen Orientation Settings 1. Touch and hold on the desktop screen. 2. Touch [Screen resolution] on the menu. 3. Touch [Orientation: Landscape]. 4. Select [Portrait (flipped)] in the list. 5. Touch [OK] or [Apply]. 6. Touch [keep changes] on the [Display Settings] screen. - If you undo the angle of the display, Select [Landscape] in the list (4.). Computer will record the settings for each external display. Depending on the display, computer may not be able to record the settings.
