This document describes how to update Software of FZ-X1 from internal storage.


[Preparation]
 Use PC for the software update.

  1. Download the update Software file from the download site to PC.
  2. Connect FZ-X1 and PC with USB cable.
    Please refer to following "Referential Document: FZ-X1 ADB USB Driver".
  3. After FZ-X1 has been recognized by PC as media storage, save the update Software file to "Download" folder of the internal storage of FZ-X1.
    Note* If more than one files are stored in "Download" folder,
    "Two or more software is stored in the "Download" folder." message appears, and update is not available.

Cautions

For software update (downgrade) from a later version of "tcd_tough-12-02-009-033" to the version of the "tcd_tough-12-02-009-030", you need to initialize the personal data of the FZ-X1.

When the initialization of the personal data of the FZ-X1 is unacceptable, please do not perform a software update (downgrade) to "tcd_tough-12-02-009-030" version.
