[When using the GPS function on the model with the built-in Wireless WAN modem]

COM port number setting is requested when trying to use the GPS function.
To use a COM port, follow the 4 steps below.

Step 1

Uninstall "Sierra Wireless QMI Driver Package".
  1. Right-click any empty location on the Start screen, and click [All apps] on the app bar.
  2. Click [Contol Panel] under "Windows System". Click [Program] - [Uninstall a program].
  3. Click [Sierra Wireless QMI Driver Package], and then click [Uninstall].

Step 2

Restart the computer.

Step 3

Perform "Port_install.bat".
  1. Right-click any empty location on the Start screen, and click [All apps] on the app bar.
  2. Click [Run] under "Windows System", input [C:utildriverswwan_11Port_install.bat] and click [OK].

Step 4

  1. Confirm that "Sierra Wireless NMEA Port(COMx)" is displayed, open the device manager, and then click [Ports(COM & LPT)].
  2. Specify "COMx" as the COM port number.
