Packages that include the Emergency Notification utility can display a full-page screen notifying the end user of a product safety issue or a recall notice.
If you prefer not to have this functionality, please ensure that you download a package that doesn’t include the Emergency Notification Software.

With the upcoming end of support from Microsoft regarding Windows 10 slated for October 2025, Panasonic will provide the Windows 10 22H2 driver packages for the FZ-40MK2. Please note a few items utilizing Windows 10 on the FZ-40MK2 vs. using Windows 11 as the primary operating system,
   - To utilize "Windows Hello" features with the FZ-40MK2, the BIOS setting, "Enhanced Sign-In Security ", needs to be set to DISABLED.
   - With the "Enhanced Sign-In Security" setting set to DISABLED in the BIOS and utilizing the Synaptics fingerprint reader option, the Synaptics fingerprint reader driver needs to be replaced.
Please follow the steps below for the replacement:
  1. The Fingerprint driver for Windows 11 is also compatible with Windows 10, so please download it from the following link:

  2. After extracting, please execute \drivers\fngprint\support\off_fingerprint_ess.bat.
